Education in the medical field has always been coveted by students. In India, you have to clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG exam to get admission in MBBS and BDS programs offered by the various government and private colleges in India. Since May 2018, Indian students who want to go abroad to study medicine will also have to take the NEET exam and prove their eligibility for the course by being in the Top 50 percentile of the medical entrance exam.
Medical preparation is an amalgamation of hard work and dedication. Earlier known as the AIPMT (All India Pre Medical/Dental Test), NEET is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The NEET replaced all the other national-level medical entrance exams in India, and those who qualify the exam are eligible for a 15% quota in all government-affiliated Indian colleges for medicine and dental streams.
